Comment: My dad went out and bought this for me the day of a party after I left my $100 straightener in another city. It works OK but that's about it. I had go over tiny little sections again and again to get it even remotely straight. My hair also got caught multiple times at the end of the iron. I didn't feel like it was heating up at all even though I turned it 2/3 of the way up and let it warm for a few minutes. Overall my old straightener was much better and worth the price. I don't remember exactly what it is called but in my experience salon straighteners work much better than store bought.

Comment: When I was searching for a straightener I didn't want to spend alot on it. I have long fine hair and it is usually easy to style, so I took a risk in buying a $20 straightener vs. a $60 like my friends were recommending. Thankfully I found this one because not only does it get me tons of compliments on my straight hair days, but it supports breast cancer research. I like that it has 30 temperature settings so I can control it not damaging my hair.
Here's the kicker: the first day I wore my hair straight my co-workers were amazed and asked if it took all morning to do my hair. They were surprised to hear that all it took was about 20 minutes! After blowdrying with a big round brush, I ran the iron quickly thru my hair to make it smooth and straight... and voila! =)
If you have fine hair and like to control the settings, this is a GREAT VALUE! I LOVE IT!
Now, if you have thick hair, I honestly do not know how you would like this... with my fine hair I use it in the 12-15 setting and it works. Not sure if the 30 setting would work on thick hair? I went into this that if it doesnt work, then I'll fork out $60 on a pricey one. But thankfully, I love it and dont have to do that! Good Luck!!

Comment: This is a very good product. It heats up very quickly, but gets very hot on the highest setting; I use it about 3/4 of the way up, so there is no risk of burnt hair. It is light weight and easy to use. The only thing that would make the item better is if it had curved sides for curling as well.

Comment: I have used other iron or straightener before, but this is absolutely the best. It is hot enough in one minute. It makes my hair shiny and smooth without burning it. And the pink color is pretty, it is good to carry when I travel too.
